El Club de fútbol Atletic America fue fundado el 9 de Marzo de 2010 en el Principado de Andorra, su primer equipo federado fue de Fútbol Sala, el cual participo por primera vez en el campeonato de la temporada 2011-2012.
Unos años mas tarde el club crea su primer equipo sénior, para participar en la segunda división de Andorra en la temporada 2015-2016, categoría en la que se encuentra compitiendo actualmente. Además de continuar con su equipo de futbol sala.
Esta temporada el Club ha creado el equipo de futbol 7 Veteranos, para competir en esta nueva Liga creada por la Federación de Futbol de Andorra.
Y tiene como nuevo proyecto la creación del fútbol base.
En estos 6 años el primer equipo sénior ha sido constante protagonista de la liga con 3 play off de ascenso a la primera división y un primer lugar de la Copa federación temporada 2020-2021.
El Club de fubtol Gavà fue fundado el 26 de mayo de 1921, marcando el inicio de una rica historia futbolística en la localidad de Gavà. En sus primeros años, el club se diferenció del Atlètic Gavà ya existente en 1917 y adoptó el nombre de Gavà FC en 1923. Desde entonces, se convirtió en un referente en la región.
Initially, the team played on La Rambla, but in 1924 it moved to Campo de la Roca. It was in November 1928 when FC Gavà received a new boost and federated the following year, consolidating its presence in local football. Since practically its beginnings, the club has worn the Barça colours, which have become its hallmark.
However, during the Franco government period in 1941, the club was forced to change its name to CF Gavà and modify its clothing, starting to wear white and green. However, in 1943, the team returned to its original colors, again adopting the Barça shirt with blue shorts.
During the 1990s, Gavà experienced a notable rise under the management of Toni Llebaria, becoming a regular in the Second Division B and the Third Division. In the 2007-2008 season, he was close to achieving promotion to the Second Division in an exciting playoff against Huesca.
After a period of ups and downs, the club was promoted in the 2015-2016 season, overcoming three playoff rounds, including the last one against CD Castellón. Although it managed to stay in the bronze category, the club suffered an administrative relegation for the first time in its history due to mismanagement by president Manuel Maniega.
In the 2017-2018 season, the members managed to regain control of the club and the presidency, but the team was relegated to Primera Catalana, leaving an uncertain future for the entity. Fortunately, local businessman Iván Carrillo took over the management of the club and established an agreement with EF Gavà to revitalize the entity's grassroots football, thus solving a serious problem that the entity had faced in recent years.
With these changes and renewed efforts, Athletic Gavà Football Club looks to the future with the determination to recover its former splendor and continue to be a symbol of football in Gavà and its surroundings.
